Halloween Cat Painting – acrylic on canvas with Jackie Ramey Laine

  • Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
  • Cost: $25 for SASi members; $30 non-members
  • What you will learn: Guided acrylic painting of a black cat. We will journey step by step creating a Halloween inspired painting using acrylics on canvas. We will create an orange sunset sky with a mysterious green-eyed black cat.

Dias de los Muertos Sugar Skull Paintings with Jackie Ramey Laine

  • Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 am to 12: noon
  • Cost: $25 for SASi members; $30 non-members
  • What you will learn: Guided painting of your individual interpretation of a sugar skull which is a symbol from Dias de los Muertos / Day of the Dead celebration originating in Mexico. Explore either watercolor on paper or acrylic on canvas to create your own unique version of a decorative sugar skull painting. Variety of patterns to go by for inspiration.

Autumn Leaves – watercolor, collage papers, colored pencils, and crayons with Jackie Ramey Laine

  • Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
  • Time: 10 am through 12 noon
  • Cost: $25 for SASi members; $30 non-members
  • What you will learn: We will create a composition of fall leaves using a base of watercolor techniques and stencils. Participants will be able to explore mixed media by enhancing their compositions with crayons, color pencils, and adding a few leaves of collaged paper. Be inspired by the colors of the season!

Holiday Ornaments – acrylic on woods with Jackie Ramey Laine

  • Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
  • Cost: $5 for 5 ornaments
  • What you will create: Come and paint 5 wooden cut out ornaments to either add to your tree or to share. Variety of patterns to go by or create your own. Jackie will assist you. All materials provided.
